Welcome to Home Care Council of PA. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Home Care Council of PA website, membership services, meetings, educational resources, communications, and other services provided by Home Care Council of PA (“Council,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, registering for an event, purchasing a membership, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About Home Care Council of PA

Home Care Council of PA is a professional community serving Pennsylvania home care agencies. The Council provides educational opportunities, industry information, networking, professional development, resources, and opportunities for agency leaders to connect and collaborate.

Home Care Council of PA is an independent organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Long-Term Living, any Managed Care Organization, or any other government agency or regulatory body.

2. Educational Information Disclaimer

Information provided through the Council, including meetings, presentations, emails, website content, resources, discussions, and other materials, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Council information does not constitute legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, employment, or other professional advice.

Members and visitors remain responsible for reviewing applicable laws, regulations, contracts, payer requirements, licensing requirements, and official agency guidance and for consulting qualified professionals when appropriate.

3. Membership

Membership benefits may include educational meetings, industry updates, agency leader discussions, networking opportunities, resources, templates, and other benefits identified by the Council.

Membership is issued to the enrolling agency and is subject to the membership terms in effect at the time of enrollment.

The Council reserves the right to modify, add, replace, or discontinue particular membership benefits when reasonably necessary to improve or operate the membership program.

4. Founding Agency Membership

Agencies joining during the designated founding membership period may receive Founding Agency Member recognition and other benefits described on the Council website or enrollment form.

Founding Agency Membership is currently $89 per month.

Agencies that qualify for the founding rate may retain the $89 monthly rate while their membership remains continuously active, subject to the membership terms disclosed at enrollment.

If a Founding Agency Membership is canceled or otherwise ends, eligibility for the original founding rate may be lost.

5. Recurring Billing and Authorization

By enrolling in a paid recurring membership and providing a payment method, you authorize Home Care Council of PA and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided for recurring membership fees according to the billing terms presented during enrollment.

Recurring charges will continue until the membership is canceled in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate and current billing and contact information.

6. Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership by contacting Home Care Council of PA at info@homecarecouncilofpa.com.

Cancellation stops future recurring membership charges after the cancellation becomes effective. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing by the Council, amounts already paid are not prorated or refunded for partially used membership periods.

7. Meetings and Events

Meeting dates, speakers, topics, formats, and schedules may change when necessary.

Registration for a meeting or event does not guarantee that a particular speaker, presentation, topic, or resource will be available.

The Council may establish reasonable participation standards to maintain professional and productive meetings.

8. Member Conduct

Members and participants are expected to interact professionally and respectfully.

The Council may restrict or terminate participation for conduct that substantially disrupts Council activities, threatens participants, misuses Council resources, or otherwise materially interferes with the operation of the organization.

9. Resources and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content and materials created by Home Care Council of PA are owned by or licensed to the Council and are provided for the authorized use of members or website visitors.

Council materials may not be reproduced, resold, publicly distributed, published, or commercially exploited without prior written permission from Home Care Council of PA, except as permitted by law.

10. Third-Party Information and Links

The Council may reference third-party organizations, government agencies, websites, speakers, vendors, or resources for informational purposes.

A reference or link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. Home Care Council of PA is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, or services of independent third parties.

11. No Guarantee of Results

Participation in the Council does not guarantee regulatory compliance, successful survey outcomes, reimbursement, business growth, profitability, contracts, licensing approval, or any particular business result.

Each agency remains responsible for its own operations and decisions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Home Care Council of PA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of Council information, resources, website content, meetings, or membership services.
